My name is Nicole Hansen and I am currently an LAC in the state of New Jersey. I received my MA in Counseling from Kean University and more recently, took additional graduate coursework at William Paterson University to further my knowledge and experience, and am actively pursuing my LPC. I have worked with clients from varying backgrounds and different presenting needs such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, peer relationships, bullying, life transitions, chronic illness and physical disabilities. I work with a wide age range from teenagers to older adults and have provided both individual and group therapy to clients.
I am passionate about working together, with my clients, to develop coping techniques and skills to either overcome or gain control over their past, present and future patterns and struggles. In this Client Centered Approach, I offer a warm and friendly environment which is genuine, sincere, non-judgmental and an overall safe place for my clients to communicate their concerns.
