Hi, I’m Kathleen Paterson, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 14 years of experience in mental health. I’m passionate about helping people feel seen, heard, and supported—no matter where they are on their journey.
I provide compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals across the lifespan and specialize in treating a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, ADHD, schizoaffective disorders, schizophrenia, and substance use disorders. I also bring a deep understanding of the 12-step recovery model and the unique challenges that come with co-occurring mental health and substance use conditions.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked in various clinical settings—from hospitals to behavioral health centers—caring for diverse populations. I value and respect each person’s background and am committed to creating an inclusive space where everyone feels safe and understood.
My approach is holistic and personalized. I combine thoughtful medication management with therapeutic techniques to support the whole person—not just the diagnosis. I believe in open, honest communication and work collaboratively with my patients to set realistic goals and build healthier, more fulfilling lives.
Mental health challenges can be overwhelming—but you don’t have to face them alone. I’m here to listen, to support, and to walk with you every step of the way.
