Dylan Carney currently holds a Professional Counseling License in New Jersey and
graduated from Stockton University with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health
Counseling. He continues to teach at Stockton University on the complexities of Gender &
Sexuality and how they influence mental health functioning and social dynamics within
respective communities.
Dylan welcomes all who are willing to enter therapy and is prepared to see individuals
regardless of social identity or individual therapeutic goals. He works best with those who
are motivated for change and strives to work alongside those who are struggling with
anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationships, and much more. Dylan practices under an
approach that aims to create an emotionally safe space that encourages self-reflection,
emotional regulation, and mindfulness in order to boost quality of life. His way of
conducting therapy is based in Adlerian Therapy, and holds knowledge and experience
using DBT Skills, LGBTQ+ Community Functioning, Strength-based Approaches,
Culturally Sensitive Approaches, and Mindfulness.
He encourages all who wish to create a positive change in their lives to continue in their
journey of growth and explore themselves in a space that’s both affirming and
enlightening. If you’re ready for change and recognize there’s room for growth, Dylan
encourages you to reach out to discuss your path to a higher quality of life.
