Counselor Kadijah Campbell, LAC

My name is Kadijah Campbell, and I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) in the state of New Jersey. I specialize in providing therapeutic services to individuals facing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, stress, and difficulty with coping. I have extensive experience working with a diverse client population, which includes adolescents, middle-aged adults, older adults, and individuals with developmental disabilities. I believe in the uniqueness of each person and approach therapy with a deep respect for the individual’s experiences and perspectives.

In my practice, I utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities to meet the needs of my clients. These include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Psychoeducation. Each of these therapeutic approaches allows me to tailor my work to the specific needs and goals of my clients, helping them to better understand their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and develop practical strategies to navigate life's challenges.

I am passionate about creating a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where clients feel safe to express themselves and explore their concerns. Therapy is a collaborative process, and my goal is to work alongside my clients to help them develop a deeper understanding of their struggles and empower them to make positive changes. I aim to assist clients in gaining valuable insights into their lives, as well as equipping them with the tools and coping strategies necessary for long-term healing and growth.

What I’ve learned from my own personal experience with therapy is that many people are seeking a space where they can be heard without fear of judgment. People want to feel understood and supported, and they often want a fresh perspective on their challenges. Therapy provides a unique opportunity to not only process difficult emotions but also to acquire practical skills that promote mental well-being and healthier living.

As a therapist, I am deeply committed to fostering a supportive and encouraging relationship with my clients. It is my belief that with the right guidance, individuals can overcome their struggles and build lives filled with greater emotional resilience, self-awareness, and fulfillment. I am honored to be part of my clients’ journeys toward healing, and I look forward to helping each person I work with discover their own path to wellness.
